We recently wrapped an exciting two-day shoot in Texas with professional trader and author Rob Booker and Founder of Disruptive Tech Research Lou Basenese.
This 90-minute video presentation starred Rob and Lou, and featured a fully restored DeLorean; the retro-futuristic car made famous in the “Back to the Future” trilogy.

The two men spoke at length on the importance of timely investing and how the right moves in the present could bring fortune to your future.
We were able to wrap the shoot in only 2 days, and, tempting though it may have been, we didn’t even need the DeLorean to help out with any time constraints!
No Project is Without Obstacles
As fun as this project was to film, it was not without its share of challenges. First and foremost, we, like many other businesses in 2020, have had to adapt our operation to ensure a safe experience for our clients and employees.
Since early spring, VMP has been adhering to a strict set of Covid-19 production guidelines both on-location and back at our Orlando HQ to safeguard ourselves and others during the pandemic. Because the health and safety of our crew and clients is paramount, masks, social distancing, and surface cleaning were all part of the DeLorean shoot.
Although these necessary measures required a different approach than we have used in previous years, it was a modification we were more than willing to make to provide a safe working environment for all involved.
Additionally, hurricane Laura was in full force during production, which added a layer of intensity to our Texas Trip. The severe rain and winds are not exactly the ideal conditions in which to travel or transport expensive videography equipment.
Nevertheless, our crew of highly experienced and focused individuals found a way to get it done on time and within the clients’ budget.
Time McFlys When You’re Having Fun

The DeLorean video was one of our most ambitious, and consequently rewarding, projects to date. To assure a smooth, professional experience for Rob and Lou, our production crew of 15 worked with the most sophisticated video, lighting & audio equipment, including:
- (8) 4K Cinema Level cameras
- Zeiss / Xeen Cinema Lenses
- Full-sized teleprompters
- DJI Ronin Stabilizers
- Arri Skypanel Lighting rigs
- Top-level Sennheiser audio equipment
- And much more
We wanted to make sure that, once completed, the final project would not only meet, but greatly exceed their expectations.

This one-of-a-kind shoot allowed us to creatively collaborate with Rob and Lou on a fun, informative, and mutually beneficial endeavor. The ROI that they received from this venture far surpassed what had been anticipated, and the feedback we received from their team at TradingPub was overwhelmingly positive. We can’t wait to work with Rob and Lou again in the future!

“Great Scott!” What a Project!
Although there were numerous hurdles to overcome, and a lot of effort involved in filming, producing, and editing, this project was as fun as it was unique. More than just a video, this project was an incredible investment for Rob and Lou’s team.

“We filmed in the middle of a hurricane here in Texas during the pandemic and the guys came out again. This is probably…the eleventh time we’ve worked together.
We successfully filmed basically what was a full-production movie within a couple of days with these guys.”
“I’ve worked with crews for the last 20 years on different productions and I can say hands-down they are the best crew to work with!
We got everything done on time and on budget. Could not say any more positive things about them.”
