To continue their expansion efforts, FFP contracted Vibrant Media Productions (VMP) with several goals in mind.
They intended to highlight their brand-new space and instrumentation with compelling video, incorporate dynamic photography into a fresh brand book, and rebrand their business in a way that would attract more clients and potential employees – all while having a measurable return on their investment.
To begin undertaking this project, we planned out the multi-day shoots with our specialized team of video and photo professionals. During the planning phase, it was important for us to collaborate with the FFP staff to ensure that their voice and brand mission of “real, simple, better” was a part of the creative process.
Multiple video and photo shoots were taken from conception to launch in a short period of time and were received incredibly well by the team at FFP, who expressed their utmost satisfaction with our work.
For nearly seventy years, Florida Food Products (FFP) has been curating locally sourced agriculture to produce specialty ingredients for a broad range of markets. Founded by WWII veteran Alexander “Jerry” Brown in 1954, the Florida-based fruit business was rooted in orange-juice concentrate, as one might expect. FFP quickly branched into tangential markets, which included citrus-pellet and pulp manufacturing as well as orange-oil production.
The company’s growth continued for decades, and even adapted to consecutive winter freezes in the 1980s, which were catastrophic for orange crops. By shifting to other markets, such as aloe-vera and freeze-dried powders, and pioneering research into vegetable juice concentrates, FFP was able to use this challenging situation as a catalyst for further growth and diversification. This ingenuity paid dividends, as FFP is now positioned as one of Florida’s top purveyors of natural, domestically sourced, clean-label ingredients that today’s consumer demands.
